The Essential 55

Vega Elementary uses Ron Clark’s Essential 55 Rules that aim to teach children the proper behavior inside and outside the classroom.  These are skills children will use all the way through adulthood.  Ron Clark taught in Harlem and North Carolina and with these Essentials, raised the standards and academic results at these schools.  He now has his own school and still implements all 55, making his school a VERY successful academy!  He has literally changed lives using the Essential 55.  They are basic guidelines of how we should carry ourselves in everyday life.
